Cunha extensi\u00f3n de 22,964 ha aproximadamente, est\u00e1 ubicada na Reserva da Biosfera \u201cTerras do Mi\u00f1o\u201d e \u00e9 unha Zona de Especial Conservaci\u00f3n (ZEC) da Rede Natura 2000 que comprende h\u00e1bitats de gran valor e unha gran diversidade de fauna e flora. Dende al\u00ed poden observarse unhas impresionantes vistas que abranguen dende as costas de Galicia e Asturias \u00e1s innumerables monta\u00f1as do interior. O Pico do Cadram\u00f3n, \u00e9 a monta\u00f1a m\u00e1is alta da Serra do Xistral, con 1056 m de altura.<\/p>\n
